What is your favorite Brew Method and why?

Still, Hario v60 is my classic brewing method. I keep coming back to v60 since it’s the easiest brewing device to handle if you want consistent results.

What do you recommend a Home Brewer should think about if they want to make competition quality coffee at Home?

Certainly the water. Access to high-quality brewing water for Home Brewers is the most challenging aspect. Barista Hustle etc. did a great job in the last years to produce your own high-quality brewing water at home but still, you need a basic chemical understanding to do this at home.


What's the best coffee you ever tried?

Hard to say because there are so many interesting coffees out there. But the combination of best green coffee and best-brewed coffee I would say up until today it was Stephano's brew of his Gesha coffee he used when he won the World Brewers Competition 2014 in Rimini.
